Changes, as filed:
- The Gazette hired a town crier: while the tutorial is on, first-time events now explain themselves in a popup. New businesses introduce themselves with their building and recipe, closures explain what went wrong, and stuck trains name their remedies. One checkbox retires him.
- The lumber mill is now the woodcutters hut (it never sawed anything), with a brand-new model. The brick kiln and smokehouse got new models too. Old saves translate on arrival.
- Locomotives no longer turn themselves around. They drive in reverse instead, each kind at its own pace: the handcar barely notices, the steam locomotive crawls.
- Businesses only start keeping books after their first train calls. No more failing before you ever reached them.
- Ctrl+Z arrived as a bank transaction: undo replays your actions in reverse, all rules apply, and only a paused clock waives the commission.
- Demolishing a station leaves its through-rails (priced accordingly) and a tombstone. A neighboring station can adopt the traffic, and redirecting a line is one click on the map.
- The Orders book lists every standing town demand. The Compendium lists every discovered good with its makers and takers.
- Islands are scenery now: nothing spawns where rails cannot follow.
- Feedback got manners: your report now hands back a receipt with a link to its Discord thread, and a Discord button sits beside the Feedback button.
The bank trusts these prove satisfactory.
